Unknown Organization in Dublin is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to own the group reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes and to ensure a robust financial control environment.

The role partners with the Finance Director and CFO to provide insights, strengthen controls, and drive continuous improvements across the finance function, including overheads, IFRS 16 and statutory reporting.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with post-qualification experience in financial accounting, reporting or finance business partnering.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience with IFRS 16 lease accounting and group reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly Group reporting process with Finance Director, CFO and senior leadership.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and performance reports for the CEO and parent company.
• Provide variance analysis and commentary against budget and forecast.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasts and strategic decisions.
• Own overhead accounting, reporting and cost analysis across the Group.
• Manage IFRS 16 lease accounting schedules and property cost reporting.
• Support statutory reporting, audit coordination and compliance.
