Job summary

Invenio Global in Dublin is seeking an Assistant Financial Controller to join the investment funds team. You will work closely with the Financial Controller on month-end close, statutory and management accounts, and group consolidation.

The ideal candidate is newly qualified ACA with Big 4/Top 10 background and funds audit experience; strong Excel and Netsuite exposure is a plus. This is a hands-on, client-side finance role with growth potential.

Qualifications

• ACA qualified (newly qualified or up to 4 years PQE).
• Big 4 or Top 10 practice background.
• Audit experience with funds (hedge funds, private credit or private equity).
• Business or finance focused degree.
• Strong Excel skills; Netsuite experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close including AR/AP and journal postings.
• Prepare statutory and management accounts and support consolidation.
• Assist with tax filings, regulatory submissions, budgeting and forecasting.
• Support senior management and audit functions.

Assistant Financial Controller - Investment Funds

Are you a newly qualified Chartered Accountant from a Top 10 practice firm, ready to make the move from audit into industry?

Our client is one of the true Rolls-Royce brand in global investment markets. A firm renowned at the highest levels for the precision, prestige, and quality of everything it does. They are seeking an Assistant Financial Controller to join their Dublin finance team. This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious funds auditor to step into a hands-on financial control role, client side - no prior financial controller experience required.

What you'll be doing

Working closely with the Financial Controller, you'll help run a busy and growing finance function, from managing AR/AP and posting month-end journals, to preparing statutory and management accounts, supporting group consolidation, assisting with tax filings and regulatory submissions, and getting involved in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting. You'll also work closely with senior management and support the wider audit function.

What we're looking for
