Primark is seeking an Assistant Designer to join our design team in Dublin. You will develop your skills across trend research, product design concepts, and range development, collaborating with Buyers and Merchandisers to deliver fashion-forward products.

You’ll work on CADs, tech packs and design documentation, ensuring alignment with customer needs and brand strategy while maintaining organisation and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Fashion Design qualification or equivalent experience.
• Proficient with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• 2+ years in Trainee or Assistant Designer role.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Understanding of trend research and product development.

Responsabilidades

• Trend research & forecasting to translate trend insights into opportunities.
• Support creation of trend-led, customer-focused product ranges with CADs, drawings and artwork.
• Assist in range building and product execution with the Design and Buying teams.
• Create and maintain specs, tech packs and design documentation.
• Develop understanding of brand, customer needs and market trends to inform design decisions.
• Collaborate with Buying, Merchandising and Design teams to deliver fashion-forward ranges.
• Maintain organised design files, samples and amendments, and support range reviews.
