Job summary

AvaTrade in Dublin is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team. The role involves preparing monthly management accounts for entities, supporting audits, and assisting with quarterly and annual group reporting.

You will work with the Head of Finance and CFO on audits, transfer pricing, tax requirements, and dashboards. 2+ years in financial services, ACA/ACCA/CIMA exams in progress, strong Excel skills; Netsuite experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in Financial Services.
• Attention to detail – accuracy and thoroughness essential with good problem solving skills.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively with other team members and departments.

Responsibilities

• Manage results and performance, providing commentary and insights on any variances.
• Assist with the annual audit and production of financial statements in close liaison with colleagues and our external auditors.
• Assist the Head of Finance and CFO in the completion of the quarterly & annual Group audit.
• Assist in the management of transfer pricing and tax requirements within your legal entities.
• Perform monthly & quarterly reconciliations as appropriate.
• Assist on projects and new MI, KPI’s, dashboards and reporting tools as appropriate

Responsibilities:

• Completing professional accounting exams - ACA, ACCA, CIMA.

• Strong Microsoft Excel experience; Netsuite experience would be an advantage.
