Lumen Search Ltd. is seeking an Assigned Certifier for a design-led practice based in County Dublin. The role involves coordinating with Construction Teams, Design Teams, and Local Authorities from project outset to ensure compliance across multiple schemes.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Engineering, Architecture or Building Surveying, is chartered or MRIAI, with 5+ years Irish Building Regulations experience and a proven track record in complex construction projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Building Surveying required.
• Chartered Engineer, Registered Surveyor or MRIAI status preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with Irish Building Regulations.
• Experience on complex construction projects is essential.
• Proven track record in site inspections.
• Strong communication skills are critical for this role.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Construction Teams, Design Teams and Local Authorities from project outset.
• Ensure compliance with Irish Building Regulations across diverse projects.
• Lead/site inspections and maintain accurate reporting and documentation.

Education

Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Building Surveying

Chartered Engineer, Registered Surveyor or MRIAI

5+ years’ experience in Irish Building Regulations

Experience in complex construction projects

Track-record in Site Inspection

The Role:

Due to a significant pipeline of work, our client is looking to secure a Professional with a background in Architecture, Building Surveying, or Engineering and someone with experience in disposing of the duties of an Assigned Certifier.

You will be involved in a diverse range of projects predominantly in the Dublin area. You will be tasked with effectively collaborating with Construction Teams, Design Teams, and Local Authorities from the outset of a project in order to ensure compliance in the most efficient manner possible.

Required Background:

• Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Building Surveying required
• Should be Chartered Engineer, Registered Surveyor or MRIAI
• 5+ years’ experience in Irish Building Regulations
• Experience in complex construction projects
• Track-record in Site Inspection
• Ability to communicate effectively is critical to this role
