Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail is seeking an Asset Intelligence Engineer to advance data-driven, AI-enabled asset management across railway infrastructure. You will combine data engineering, analytics, AI, computer vision, and digital innovation to support the iTRAK programme and its asset management vision.

You will lead PoCs and pilots, translate operational needs into technical solutions, engage stakeholders, and deliver analytics dashboards to enable safer, more reliable rail operations.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience in data-related fields.
• Experience with AI, ML, computer vision, or advanced analytics.
• Experience with data engineering, software engineering, analytics or data science.
• Experience delivering proofs of concept.

Responsabilités

• Identify opportunities to improve asset management, safety, reliability, and performance through data and technology.
• Develop innovative solutions that transform asset data into actionable intelligence.
• Support the delivery of the iTRAK programme and Asset Management vision.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand operational challenges and identify improvement opportunities.
