Job summary

Accenture Ireland seeks a hands-on Infrastructure Architect to design and optimize AI/ML infrastructure powering real-world applications. You will work with senior engineers, lead workstreams, and contribute code, IaC, deployment scripts, and monitoring across cloud and on-prem environments.

You will mentor juniors, shape best practices, and help ensure security, scalability, and cost efficiency while delivering reliable AI platforms and data pipelines.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in coding, building, monitoring, and troubleshooting AI/ML applications and deploying them on cloud or on-premises.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and computing infrastructure, with preferred AI infrastructure knowledge.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++.
• Experience with data pipelines and workflow tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Kubeflow).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in fast-paced environments.
• Proven experience in AI/ML infrastructure engineering on hyperscaler platforms for large-scale deployments.

Responsibilities

• Write, review, and debug code, scripts, and infrastructure-as-code for AI infrastructure and tooling.
• Provision compute resources across cloud and on-prem environments, including GPU clusters.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to release AI systems and models.
• Deploy AI systems and data pipelines into production.
• Lead container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes and model serving frameworks.
• Architect and optimize the computational stack for performance, power, and cost.
• Evaluate tools and platforms to shape the infrastructure roadmap.
• Ensure interoperability, security, and regulatory compliance across enterprise systems.
• Own AI monitoring and infrastructure health across InfraOps and MLOps.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and perform root-cause analyses.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive architectural best practices.
