Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Assembler role based in Ballinasloe. The Assembler will be responsible for putting together wood-based components and products according to technical drawings, specifications, and work orders. Day-to-day tasks include operating hand and power tools, measuring and cutting materials, fitting and fastening parts, and checking completed assemblies for quality and accuracy. The role involves working closely with production and design teams, following safety procedures, maintaining a clean work area, and meeting daily production targets. The Assembler may also assist with packing, loading, and preparing finished products for delivery.

Qualifications

• Practical woodworking or carpentry skills, including safe use of hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and quality, with good measurement and basic math skills.
• Experience in assembly or manufacturing environments, ideally in joinery or furniture production.
• Good physical stamina, manual dexterity, and ability to perform repetitive tasks safely.
• Reliable time management, ability to follow schedules, and work effectively as part of a team.
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Secondary education or vocational training in woodworking, manufacturing, or a related field is an advantage.
