Job summary

Greyhound Recycling is investing in AI to improve customer experience, operations and business intelligence. You will join a small, capable engineering team delivering AI-powered products used daily by employees and customers.

You’ll own features from concept through production, spanning backend services, user interfaces, data engineering and applied AI. You will work with product owners to design, implement and deploy reliable systems, APIs and data pipelines, leveraging LLMs and retrieval

Qualifications

• Strong Python engineering skills.
• REST APIs and modern web application development.
• SQL and database design.
• Cloud platforms, containers and CI/CD, Git.
• Excellent communication and engineering judgement.

Responsibilities

• Build production AI capabilities including LLM integrations, evaluation and retrieval.
• Develop backend APIs, data pipelines and modern web applications.
• Use AI-assisted development tools within a specification-first workflow.
• Design secure, scalable and observable systems.
