Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking an Area Sales Representative to cover Louth, Meath, Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow, and parts of Wexford. The role is fully field based five days a week, managing 20 key accounts and actively pursuing new business opportunities within the plumbing and construction sectors.

You will cold call on building sites, engage with plumbers, and negotiate deals to drive project wins. This is a new role created to support ongoing expansion and growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in field or area sales, ideally within the plumbing, building supplies, or construction sectors.

Responsibilities

• Manage 20 key accounts with a strong focus on relationship development and new business generation.
• Proactively cold call into building sites and engage directly with plumbers to win projects and negotiate deals.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently across your territory.

About Your New Job

As the Area Sales Representative, you will be fully field based 5 days a week and manage 20 key accounts, with a strong focus on developing these relationships and generating new business. You will proactively cold call into building sites and engage directly with plumbers to win new projects and negotiate deals. Your territory will include Louth, Meath, Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow, and parts of Wexford, offering variety and scope for growth. This is a brand-new role created as part of our ongoing expansion, giving you autonomy and the opportunity to make your mark.

What Skills You Need

• Proven experience in field or area sales, ideally within the plumbing, building supplies, or construction sectors.
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills, comfortable with cold calling and developing business with new clients.
• Self-motivation and the ability to work independently, managing your own time and territory effectively.
