Job summary

Sherpa Kids is seeking a Quality Service Delivery Manager to provide support and operational oversight for an expanding portfolio of Afterschool services based in County Kildare. You will help deliver high-quality, safe, and engaging school-age care with a family-focused approach.

You will lead and coach staff, partner with schools and families, ensure safeguarding and compliance, and drive continuous improvement across sites through visits, audits and performance reviews.

Qualifications

• Own car is essential for this role.
• Located in County Kildare.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Previous experience in leading a team and managing staff.
• Passion for childcare.
• At least 2 written references are required.
• Childcare: 2 years (required).
• Management: 2 years (required).
• Driver's license and access to a car each day (required).

Responsibilities

• The QSD Manager provides safeguarding, compliance, quality assurance, programme delivery, workforce development and operational practice.
• Conduct regular site visits, coaching, supervision and auditing to ensure safe, engaging experiences for children.
• Identify risks, uphold standards and drive continuous improvement across services.
• Build strong partnerships with staff, schools, families and children.

AnAreamanager/Quality Service Delivery Manager is required toprovide support and operational oversight for selecting a growing number of Sherpa Kids Afterschool services.

Based ina number ofPrimary schools, our services require someone with a passion for delivering quality, dependable school-age services, with a creative and family-supportive approach to holiday care.

Requires someone who is dedicated to forming strong partnerships with their staff teams, schools, families, and with children.

The QSD Manager is responsible for maintaining excellence in safeguarding, compliance, quality assurance, programme delivery, workforce development and operational practice. Through regular site visits, coaching, supervision and auditing, the QSD Manager ensures that children receive safe, enriching and engaging experiences while supporting staff to perform confidently and effectively.

The role requires a highly visible presence within services and a proactive approach to identifying risks, maintaining standards and driving continuous improvement.
