Job summary

Sherpa Kids Ireland is seeking a Programme Lead to oversee before/after school programmes in schools across Ireland. The role requires driving to various locations, energetic participation with children, and strong teamwork to run daily activities effectively.

Ideal candidates will have 1+ year experience with school-aged children, a Fetac Level 5 childcare qualification, and Garda vetting completed or in process. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with school-aged children (minimum 1 year).
• Fetac Level 5 childcare or equivalent qualification.
• Basic knowledge of child development and English (verbal/written).
• Garda vetting required after interview stage.
• At least 2 written references prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team for before/after school programmes.
• Maintain day-to-day activities and programme delivery.
• Interact daily with children, families and staff.
• Travel by car to schools for programme lead responsibilities.
• Bring energy and enthusiasm to engage children.

Job Description

Programme Lead must have experience in managing and leading a team

Own carrequiredfor programme lead

Maintain the day-to-day activities

Interacting with the children, theirfamiliesand other staff members each day.

Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.

Experience working with school aged children is preferred (Minimum 2 year)

Proficiencyin technology and software (Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.).

Qualifications
