Area Manager – Ireland - Fitness Industry

Location: Dublin

Salary: €60k basic + travel allowance plus bonus OTE €75k+

Our client is a leading fitness operator, known world wide for their industry leading gyms. They are preparing for an exciting expansion into the Irish market and is looking for an experienced Area Manager to play a pivotal role in launching and leading their first locations.

You'll combine responsibility for new site openings with the ongoing operational leadership of multiple locations, ensuring every club launches successfully and delivers an exceptional customer experience from day one.

The Role

As Area Manager, you'll oversee the successful opening and operational performance of multiple sites across Ireland. You'll work closely with cross‑functional teams, suppliers and local management to ensure each location is launched to the highest standards while delivering ambitious membership and commercial targets.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the successful delivery of new site openings from practical completion through to launch.
• Researching new locations and assessing local market opportunities.
• Supporting pre‑sale activity and helping site teams achieve membership growth targets.
• Driving local marketing initiatives, community engagement and corporate partnerships.
• Ensuring operational readiness, compliance and brand standards across all locations.
• Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Coaching, developing and inspiring Gym Managers and Assistant Managers to achieve outstanding performance.
• Monitoring commercial performance, identifying opportunities and implementing improvement plans.
• Driving operational excellence to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Supporting recruitment and talent development as the business continues to expand across Ireland.
