Job summary

Brightpath Recruitment seeks a Senior Architectural Technologist to lead a team across multiple projects, delivering high-quality design solutions on time and within budget. You will oversee production of technical drawings, schedules, and design documentation, coordinating with the project team and ensuring smooth handover to construction.

The role requires expertise in Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD, plus BCAR knowledge, strong detailing skills and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• BSc in Architectural Technology or equivalent relevant qualification.
• Experience managing design teams across multiple projects.
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of BCAR and building regulations.
• Ability to provide accurate technical detailing and drawing standards.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Fluency in both French and English.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications and agree design deliverables.
• Manage design budgets, programmes and productivity targets.
• Ensure designs comply with regulations and standards.
• Supervise and mentor Architectural Technologists.
• Manage technical aspects of subcontractor packages.
• Oversee product selection, detailing and material interfaces.
• Raise and respond to RFIs and COVIs.
• Ensure health and safety compliance on projects.
• Identify long-lead materials for procurement planning.
• Attend site meetings as required.
• Assist with tender proposals and technical submissions.

About the Role
