Job summary

ProSource Group in Dublin is seeking an Architectural Technician to support design and construction teams. You will produce detailed drawings and specifications, coordinating with architects, engineers and clients to realise architectural visions.

The role involves using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit), conducting site visits, and assisting with planning applications and building regulations documentation to ensure accurate implementation of designs.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and other relevant design tools.
• Strong technical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Prior experience in a similar role within the architecture or construction industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction technique.

Responsibilities

ProSource are seeking a skilled Architectural Technician on behalf of their client who are a well established Architectural firm in Ireland. As an Architectural Technician, you will play a key role in the design and construction process, working closely with architects, engineers, and clients to bring architectural visions to life. This role is based in Dublin.

Your main duties will include, but not be limited to;

• Collaborating with architects and other professionals to develop design concepts.
• Producing detailed technical drawings and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software and Revit
• Conducting site visits to gather data and assess the feasibility of design proposals.
• Assisting in the preparation of planning applications and building regulations documentation.
• Coordinating with contractors and vendors to ensure that designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
• Providing technical support throughout the construction phase, addressing any design-related issues that may arise.
• Keeping abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and innovation in our projects.

To be successful in your application you will possess the following;
