Job summary

IT Staff is recruiting two Architects with BIM and Revit experience on behalf of a major Irish Government agency responsible for some of the countrys most iconic buildings in Dublin. You will lead conservation projects across landmark State‑owned sites and collaborate with craftspeople to preserve heritage.

The role requires strong design and technical drawing skills, with a passion for historic structures and experience in project and site management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years post-graduation experience, including project and site management.
• Strong design and technical drawing skills, with proficiency in BIM and Revit.
• Genuine interest in historic buildings and conservation.
• Previous conservation experience is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Leading conservation, refurbishment, fit-out, and maintenance projects on landmark State-owned buildings.
• Collaborating with specialist craftspeople in historic joinery, plasterwork, metalwork, and traditional materials.
• Producing high-quality AutoCAD drawings and comprehensive contract documentation.
• Managing projects from concept through completion, including on-site coordination.
• Working as part of a multidisciplinary design team safeguarding historic structures while adapting them for contemporary use.

IT Staff is delighted to recruit two Architects with BIM and Revit experience on behalf of a major Irish Government agency responsible for some of the countrys most iconic buildings.

From Dublin Castle and the Custom House to the Four Courts and the National Museum of Ireland, this is a rare opportunity to play a direct role in preserving and enhancing Irelands architectural heritage.

The Role

No two days will be the same. You will be involved in:

• Leading conservation, refurbishment, fit‑out, and maintenance projects on landmark State‑owned buildings
• Collaborating with specialist craftspeople in historic joinery, plasterwork, metalwork, and traditional materials
• Producing high‑quality AutoCAD drawings and comprehensive contract documentation
• Managing projects from concept through completion, including on‑site coordination
• Working as part of a skilled, multidisciplinary design team committed to safeguarding historic structures while adapting them for contemporary use

What Were Looking For

Minimum 5 years post‑graduation experience, including project and site management

• Previous conservation experience is highly advantageous

Education & Experience

Ideally, you will have:

• A postgraduate qualification in Building Conservation, and/or
• At least 2 years experience working with historic buildings, monuments, or protected structures
• Hands‑on involvement in conservation or heritage‑led projects
• Proven ability to work effectively within multi‑disciplinary teams and deliver complex projects
