Job summary

Global Professional Consultants, based in North Dublin, is seeking an experienced Architect to support major developments including educational, residential, commercial and data centre projects.

The role involves managing technical design queries, coordinating information, resolving issues, and working with design teams, contractors and stakeholders to ensure compliant, high‑quality detailing. A strong grasp of Irish Building Regulations and site experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Registered Architect with RIAI or RIBA registration.
• Minimum of 6 years post‑graduation experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of building construction, detailing, and methods.
• Excellent understanding of Irish Building Regulations.
• Site experience with the ability to resolve issues quickly.

Responsibilities

We’re seeking an experienced Architect to support the delivery of major developments, including educational, residential, commercial and data centre projects.

Duties & Responsibilities include:

• Manage technical design queries and coordinate project information
• Resolve construction‑related issues independently
• Support project delivery across multiple medium/large‑scale developments
• Work closely with design teams, contractors, and project stakeholders
• Apply construction knowledge to ensure high‑quality detailing and compliance

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Qualified Architect, holding RIAI / RIBA registration
• Minimum of 6 years’ post‑graduation experience
• Strong technical knowledge of building construction, detailing etc.
• Excellent understanding of Irish Building Regulations
• Site experience with the ability to resolve issues quickly
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Proactive approach with good decision making and problem-solving skills
• Project experience in the data centre sector is highly beneficial but previous experience across commercial, healthcare, educational, residential are desired
• Must hold eligibility to work in Ireland to be considered
