Job summary

FAIN ASCENSORES in Ireland is seeking an Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable Technician to support day-to-day AR/AP activities, ensure accurate invoicing, payments and reconciliations, and help maintain reliable financial information.

You will work with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders, perform month-end close tasks, ensure compliance with procedures, and look for opportunities to improve processes using ERP systems and Excel.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Experience with AR/AP or a similar Finance position.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems and good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable records, invoicing, payments and allocations.
• Process supplier invoices, credit notes and AP transactions with correct coding.
• Perform reconciliations for customer, supplier and bank accounts.
• Support month-end and year-end closing within AR/AP scope and provide documentation for reporting.
• Ensure compliance with finance procedures and internal controls; identify process improvements.
