Job summary

A local air conditioning company in Cork is seeking Refrigeration and Air Conditioning apprentices for a full-time role. As an apprentice, you will receive both on-the-job and off-the-job training with SOLAS, enabling you to gain valuable experience in servicing, maintenance, and installations within commercial and pharmaceutical settings. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong willingness to learn. This position offers a chance to earn while acquiring an internationally recognized qualification.

Qualifications

• Must commit to a 4 Year apprenticeship.
• Prior mechanical, electrical or HVAC experience is a plus.
• Off-the-job training provided through SOLAS.

Responsibilities

• Receive on the job training in servicing, maintenance, and installations.
• Attend block release off-the-job training with SOLAS.
• Be a team player and commit to the full apprenticeship duration.

About the Role

Astech Air Conditioning are recruiting Refrigeration and Air Conditioning apprentices to join our growing business in Cork. You will receive on the job training - working on the servicing, maintenance and installations of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration plant in commercial and pharmaceutical industries, as well as off the job training provided by SOLAS.

The successful apprentice will be:

• A team player
• Willing to listen, learn and be punctual
• Have a strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Committed to a 4 Year apprenticeship
• Must be eligible to study for an apprenticeship as per criteria stipulated by SOLAS

This is a great opportunity to be paid while you earn and complete an internationally recognised Qualification. You will attend block release with SOLAS for off-the-job training and be required to successfully pass each phase and exams.
