Job summary

JDA WMS Pte Ltd in Ireland is seeking a Diploma-educated engineer to deliver hands-on product support and testing for customers and sales teams. You will diagnose issues remotely or on-site, calibrate systems, and provide training and demonstrations to clients.

You will travel to client sites, refine technical manuals, and support continuous improvement projects while upholding company standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Engineering (e.g., Computer, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related disciplines).
• Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities to diagnose complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage tasks and project timelines effectively.
• Active listening skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, simple language.
• Excellent analytical skills to break down complex data and technical information.
• High service orientation with a proactive attitude toward customer support and relationship management.
• Familiarity with Logic Control systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Serial, Modbus TCP, Ethernet, Ethernet/IP).
• Familiarity with HMI programming.

Responsibilities

• Handle inquiries from sales representatives and clients via phone and email regarding product capabilities, specifications, and practical applications.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues remotely (phone/email) and on-site.
• Perform product application testing for internal sales teams and prospective clients.
• Travel to client sites to provide technical support, including system setup, calibration, and fine-tuning.
• Deliver post-sales technical and application training to customers.
• Develop, refine, and maintain training manuals and technical documentation.
• Assist sales teams with technical presentations and product demonstrations during client visits, as needed.
• Proactively identify opportunities to optimize operational efficiency and initiate continuous improvement projects.
• Adhere to company policies, standards, and operational guidelines.
• Undertake additional technical duties or special projects as assigned.
