Job summary

Accenture UK & Ireland is seeking an API Sales Representative to drive adoption of consumption-based, cloud, and AI API products. You will work with developers, product teams, and technical decision-makers to understand integration needs and guide customers toward the right API solutions.

You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing, while collaborating with Solutions Engineering to deliver compelling demos and proofs of concept.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in inside sales, outbound sales, or SDR/BDR progression.
• Experience selling consumption-based or usage-driven products (cloud compute, APIs, AI services) rather than pure SaaS bookings.
• Strong communication skills; ability to simplify technical concepts for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business acquisition by outbound calls, emails, and digital channels to engage technical prospects.
• Own complex, multi-stage sales cycles focused on API adoption and long-term consumption growth.
• Forecast and manage usage-based pipeline, including expected consumption and customer growth signals.
• Qualify leads through consultative conversations to understand integration requirements and business objectives; position API solutions accordingly.
• Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, including pricing and implementation paths.
• Collaborate with Solutions Engineering for demos, proofs of concept, or technical deep dives.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity and forecasts in Salesforce or other CRM tools.
