Job summary

GemPool Recruitment in Ireland seeks an experienced Engineering Team Lead to own the Android engineering function for a global technology client. You will lead a talented Android team, shape the technical roadmap, and collaborate with Product, Design, QA, Backend, Web and iOS teams.

The role is hands-on with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and CI/CD pipelines, and you will drive code quality, performance, and deployment practices across the mobile stack.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Android leadership or senior engineering experience.
• Strong Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android architecture knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Android engineers to deliver production-grade apps.
• Own architecture, code quality, and delivery of the Android platform.
• Contribute by writing Kotlin UI using Jetpack Compose and maintain high engineering standards.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
