Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an Android Engineer to build and maintain scalable Android solutions for restaurant environments. You will ship features end-to-end, collaborate with UX, PM, and QA, and explore AI-assisted development tools to enhance guest engagement experiences.

The role requires 2–4 years of Android experience, proficiency in Kotlin/Java, and comfort with REST/GraphQL. This is a hybrid role in Dublin, with in-office collaboration two days per week.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of Android development experience with Kotlin and/or Java.
• Hands-on with modern Android tooling and frameworks.
• Interest in AI-assisted development and LLM-based agents.
• Experience reading and integrating with backend services (REST/GraphQL).
• Comfortable in Agile delivery and shipping incrementally.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Android solutions running on restaurant POS hardware.
• Ship features end-to-end from design to rollout, monitor and iterate.
• Create great UX using modern Android development practices.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams; participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Partner with engineers across the company to raise Android quality.
• Work with AI tooling to improve workflows and productivity.
