Job summary

BJAK in Ireland is seeking an Android Developer to build the native Android experience for BJAK's AI Finance Agent. You will focus on clean flows, fast performance, and shipping reliable mobile features used by real customers.

You will collaborate with product, design, backend and AI engineers to take features from idea to production, own app quality, and leverage production analytics to improve the product.

Qualifications

• Strong native Android experience with Kotlin.
• Experience shipping Android apps used by real users.
• Knowledge of Android architecture, Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow.
• Strong product sense and focus on UX.
• Ability to debug production issues and improve performance.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and moving fast without lowering quality.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship native Android features for onboarding, accounts, cards, payments, transfers, rewards and AI-assisted journeys.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend and AI engineers to turn ideas into production features.
• Own app quality across performance, crashes, loading states, and release stability.
• Improve experiences based on analytics and user behavior after launch.
• Integrate APIs, authentication, secure data handling and financial workflows with reliability.
