Job summary

Toast is seeking an Android engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable Android solutions for Toast POS hardware in thousands of restaurants. You will ship features end-to-end, collaborate with product, design and engineering, and improve UX with modern Android practices.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of Android experience, strong Kotlin/Java skills, and an interest in AI-assisted development. The role is hybrid with in-office collaboration in Dublin two days per week.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of Android development experience.
• Experience shipping production Android apps.
• Familiar with REST/GraphQL integration.
• Interest in AI-assisted development.
• Strong fundamentals: tests, clean code.
• Ambiguity tolerance and Agile delivery.

Responsibilities
