Job summary

Sun Life Financial in Waterford is offering an internship in the Analytics and Automation Centre of Excellence. You'll work on automation, data analytics, and tooling to support network services and enterprise capabilities.

As a third-year student, you’ll develop and deploy automation and analytical solutions, collaborate with AACoE peers and ENS stakeholders, and gain hands-on experience transforming data into actionable insights for business decisions.

Qualifications

• Education and experience in IT/CS; BS preferred.
• Hands-on coding in Python, R, C++, Java, or Perl.
• Knowledge of network programmability and integration with YANG, YAML, XML, JSON, NETCONF, RESTCONF.
• Thrives in Agile, fast-paced environments.
• Experience documenting network technical work.
• API programming and automation experience.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and monitoring systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Prepares and presents service level updates and status reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist in advancing enabling technologies for Automation, Data & Analytics, DevOps, API, and Digital Assets.
• Develop and deploy automation and analytical solutions, data extraction tools, dashboards and ML models.
• Collaborate with AACoE peers and ENS stakeholders to improve processes and efficiency.
• Perform analysis and transform data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
