Job summary

Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in Ireland seeks an Analytical Scientist to provide technical and analytical support to the Analytical NPI team, including method transfer and validation execution, instrumentation and methodology troubleshooting, and the introduction of new technology.

Qualifications

Strong technical knowledge in biochemistry or chemistry.

Ability to follow written SOPs with attention to detail.
Strong report writing and technical writing skills.
Ability to use AI tools to support technical writing within compliance.

Responsibilities

Perform all lab functions in compliance with cGMP
Follow written protocols for Transfer and Validation activities
Troubleshoot new methods as required
Ensure training is current for all job functions performed
Support the NPI management team as required
Recognize and report aberrant test results
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the NPI team
