Job summary

AstraZeneca and Alexion are seeking an Analytical NPI specialist to provide technical and analytical support, including method transfer, validation execution, and instrumentation troubleshooting. The role requires following SOPs, leading troubleshooting of new methods, and maintaining attention to detail.

You will help introduce new technology and support continuous improvement within the NPI team. The ideal candidate holds a BSc in Chemistry or a biological science with 2–3 years of experience

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge in Biochemistry or Chemistry.
• Experience with investigation methodologies and troubleshooting.
• Ability to follow written SOPs with attention to detail.
• Proficient in report and technical writing.

Qualifications and key competencies

• Good technical knowledge in the area of Biochemistry or Chemistry.
• Good experience in investigation methodology and method troubleshooting
• Ability to follow written procedures with close attention to detail
• Good report writing and technical writing skills
• Ability to use AI tools to support technical writing (risk assessments, change controls, deviations) while understanding compliance boundaries
• Ability to function with minimal supervision for routine job duties

Education

BSc in Chemistry or a biological science, 2-3 years’ experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
