Job summary

Eurofins is seeking a Method Development & Validation Analyst in Limerick, Ireland, for a full-time 1-year fixed-term contract. The role focuses on developing and validating analytical methods and supporting technology transfers within a GMP-regulated environment.

You will work in a Professional Scientific Services team, ensuring high-quality results, timely project delivery and rigorous documentation. The position offers a structured schedule Monday–Thursday 08:00–17:00 and Friday 08:00–16:00.

Qualifications

• Honours Degree in Analytical Chemistry or related scientific discipline, with the ability to apply technical knowledge within a regulated laboratory environment.
• Extensive experience in analytical method development, method validation and lifecycle management, with a strong understanding of current industry and regulatory expectations.
• Hands-on experience using HPLC and Dissolution techniques, supported by significant analytical testing and validation expertise within a GMP-regulated environment.
• Thorough understanding of GMP requirements and ICH guidelines, with the ability to ensure compliance whilst maintaining high standards of quality and data integrity.
• Excellent planning, organisational, communication and documentation skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong IT skills and a flexible, collaborative approach, enabling you to work effectively as part of a team, adapt to changing business needs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate and verify analytical methods using techniques including HPLC and Dissolution to support client projects.
• Provide analytical support for technical transfers, troubleshooting and process development.
• Review and maintain GMP-compliant documentation and records.
• Support colleagues through training and knowledge sharing with proper documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in meetings to deliver client outcomes.
• Work independently and in a team, learn new processes and maintain quality-focused approach.
