Job summary

Eurofins Ringaskiddy is seeking an Analytical Development Lead Days Analyst to lead a high-performing laboratory team within the client environment, driving quality and compliance, and ensuring outstanding service delivery.

You will coach staff, manage scheduling, maintain GMP documentation, and act as a key client contact, building strong relationships while delivering on SLAs.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in chemistry or related subject.
• Experience leading teams in a GMP pharmaceutical environment.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as site leader for the weekend shift (if required).
• Lead and coordinate a high-performing laboratory team, driving productivity, quality, safety, and service excellence.
• Be a key client contact, building relationships and ensuring service delivery meets expectations.
• Coach and develop team members through training and feedback.
• Manage scheduling, resource planning, and cross-training to maximise efficiency.
• Review and maintain GMP-compliant technical docs, data, SOPs and reports.

Hours: Days or shift, 39 hours per week if on day shift. Alternatively, 84 hours a week if on shift (12 hours each day, Wednesday, Thursday one week, and Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday the next week.)

Duties

The purpose of this job is to serve as the Lead Analyst for the Analytical Development group within the client environment to support their technical and analytical tasks, to work to the highest standards in terms of quality and professionalism. As Analytical Development Lead Days Analyst, you’ll duties will include:

• Act as site leader for the B shift on the weekends (if shift lead).
• Managing QBAS as lead checker and schedule (if shift lead).
• Lead and coordinate a high-performing laboratory team, driving productivity, quality, safety, and customer service excellence.
• Act as a key client contact, building strong relationships and ensuring service delivery consistently meets or exceeds expectations.
• Support the development, coaching, and performance of team members through training, mentoring, and regular feedback.
• Manage laboratory scheduling, resource planning, and cross-training activities to maximise efficiency and achieve service level agreements.
• Review, approve, and maintain high-quality technical documentation, data, SOPs, and reports in line with GMP and compliance standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, using performance metrics and technical expertise to enhance processes, quality, and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• A degree or diploma in chemistry or a related subject.
• Experience in a pharmaceutical industry GMP laboratory
• Experience in a leadership capacity
• Good team player, organised, accurate, have strong documentation skills
• Passionate about quality and client service.
• Good communication skills both internally and externally.
