Job summary

Eurofins is seeking a Shift Lead Analyst in Ringaskiddy, Ireland to lead an analytical development team within a client environment. You will drive quality, productivity and compliance, acting as on-site B shift leader and key client contact.

The role requires GMP laboratory experience, leadership ability, and strong documentation and communication skills. You will mentor staff, schedule resources and maintain GMP-compliant records.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in chemistry or a related subject.
• Experience in a pharmaceutical GMP laboratory.
• Experience in a leadership capacity.
• Strong documentation skills and accuracy.
• Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as site leader for the B shift on weekends.
• Manage QBAS as lead checker and scheduler.
• Lead and coordinate a high-performing laboratory team, driving productivity, quality, safety, and customer service excellence.
• Act as a key client contact, building strong relationships and ensuring service delivery meets or exceeds expectations.
• Support the development, coaching, and performance of team members through training, mentoring, and regular feedback.
• Manage laboratory scheduling, resource planning, and cross-training activities to maximise efficiency and achieve service level agreements.
• Review, approve, and maintain high-quality technical documentation, data, SOPs, and reports in line with GMP and compliance standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, using performance metrics and technical expertise to enhance processes, quality, and operational effectiveness.

Hours: Shift only position, working 78 hours over 2 weeks.

The purpose of this job is to serve as the Shift Lead Analyst for the Analytical Development group within the client environment to support their technical and analytical tasks, to work to the highest standards in terms of quality and professionalism.

• Act as site leader for the B shift on the weekends.

Qualifications
