Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking an Analytical Development Shift Lead Analyst to lead the B shift in the client environment, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and professionalism in all analytical tasks. You will coordinate a high-performing lab team, manage QBAS as lead checker and scheduler, and strengthen client relationships while driving continuous improvement and compliant documentation.

• A degree or diploma in chemistry or a related subject.
• Experience in a pharmaceutical industry GMP laboratory
• Experience in a leadership capacity
• Good team player, organized, accurate, and have strong documentation skills

• Good communication skills both internally and externally

Responsibilities

• Act as site leader for the B shift on the weekends.
• Managing QBAS as lead checker and scheduler
• Lead and coordinate a high‑performing laboratory team, driving productivity, quality, safety, and customer service excellence.
• Act as a key client contact, building strong relationships and ensuring service delivery consistently meets or exceeds expectations.
• Support the development, coaching, and performance of team members through training, mentoring, and regular feedback.
• Manage laboratory scheduling, resource planning, and cross‑training activities to maximise efficiency and achieve service level agreements.
• Review, approve, and maintain high‑quality technical documentation, data, SOPs, and reports in line with GMP and compliance standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, using performance metrics and technical expertise to enhance processes, quality, and operational effectiveness.

Hours: Shift only position, working78 hours over 2 weeks.

The purpose of this job is to serve as the Shift Lead Analyst for the Analytical Development group within the client environment to support their technical and analytical tasks, to work to the highest standards in terms of quality and professionalism.
