Job summary

Vantive is seeking an Analytical Development Chemist to join our Castlebar team. You will develop and validate analytical methods, perform method transfers, and conduct chemistry testing of trial products within a dynamic organization.

The role requires a BSc in Chemistry, at least 6 months HPLC experience, and strong communication skills. Shift flexibility and a background in pharma are advantageous as we support global R&D projects.

Qualifications

• B Sc. in Chemistry or relevant degree
• 6 months HPLC experience is a requirement
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to interact with different functions within the plant and the wider organisation
• Willingness to work different shift patterns to meet business needs and accommodate manufacturing schedules
• Relevant pharmaceutical experience

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate new analytical methods and method transfers for new product lines
• Write and execute Analytical Method and Instrument Validations
• Chemistry testing of trial product
• Instrument trouble shooting and investigation management
• Preparation of batch documentation and review and approve data lab reports and protocols
• Delivering Analytical Development Chemistry projects within agreed timeframes
• Preparation and updating specifications and procedures
• Coordinate the Analytical Development Laboratory activities across programmes
• Maintain laboratory inventory and equipment
