Job summary

Vantive, a vital organ therapy company, is seeking an HPLC Chemist at our Castlebar site to join the on-site laboratory team. You will analyse samples, operate HPLC/UPLC and GC instrumentation, and help ensure compliant documentation and batch release.

The role requires a Chemistry or science qualification and at least 1 year with HPLC, Waters HPLC systems, and Empower software. You will collaborate with QA and production, contributing to quality reviews and audits.

Qualifications

  • Higher level qualification in Chemistry or a relevant science subject.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with HPLC instrumentation and software.
  • Experience with Waters HPLC systems and Empower software is essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse samples from various phases of the manufacturing process.
  • Operate and maintain HPLC, UPLC & GC instrumentation.
  • Interpret data and ensure compliant documentation when recording data.
  • Report analytical results.
  • Collaborate with chemists and production personnel to ensure compliance and efficiencies.
  • Support QA during inspections and audits and contribute to continuous improvement.
