Job summary

Sodexo Ireland is seeking a chemistry/analytical role focused on quality management and GMP compliance. You will support process development, coordinate with internal teams, and perform method evaluations in line with QC requirements.

The position is a full-time, 18-month fixed-term contract, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a starting rate of €21.79 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum Experienced Required (Years): 2
• Level 7 qualification incl Diploma and Ordinary Bachelor Degree
• Up-to-date knowledge of GMP, ICH, FDA and QMS guidance

Responsibilities

• Liaise with customers and internal teams to set priorities and timelines
• Communicate requirements to AD group/AD Manager as appropriate
• Maintain GMP standards and QC requirements
• Participate in site quality initiatives and ensure standards are followed
• Carry out paper and bench evaluations of key analytical methods
• Apply Quality by Design principles where appropriate

What you will do

• Liaise with customers and internal teams (Process Development Services, Quality, Operations) to establish appropriate timelines for priority analysis and schedule work accordingly such that customer needs and objectives are met.
• Communicate requirements to the AD group or AD Manager as appropriate.
• Perform duties in a compliant manner and behave in accordance with our Quality Management System requirements.
• Participate fully in our site’s quality initiatives and ensure that all relevant quality standards are adhered to.
• Maintain GMP standards.
• Carry out paper and bench evaluations of all key analytical methods. Evaluations should be carried out with the knowledge of QC requirements.
• Apply enhanced development (Quality by Design QbD) principles where appropriate.

What you'll bring

• Bachelors Degree in Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry.
• An up-to-date knowledge of Quality guidelines e.g., ICH, FDA, IMB, QMS and GMP.
• Have a sound technical knowledge of their specific discipline and good understanding of critical business functions on site.
• Familiar with GMP as applied to an analytical laboratory.
