Job summary

The Fruit People in Dublin 11 is seeking a Jr. Demand Planner/Buyer to join our fast-growing Supply Team. You will forecast demand, source fresh produce, and manage purchase orders in our ERP system to keep stock aligned with customer needs.

You will collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and customer service to resolve delays and optimize costs, while building strong supplier relationships and staying ahead of market pricing.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in FMCG or a similar role.
• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Quality Management, or related field preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced with procurement or quality management software.
• Strong communicator with sharp analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Forecast demand by analysing customer buying patterns to keep stock levels on point.
• Source fresh produce that meets stock targets and customer demand.
• Process purchase orders in the ERP system accurately and on time.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve delivery delays, pricing issues and other roadblocks.
• Monitor competitor pricing and quality to ensure we offer top value.
• Work with warehouse, logistics and customer service teams for smooth operations.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
