Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking an experienced Freight Forwarder – Air Export to ensure services meet customer expectations within established SLAs and cost parameters. You will manage bookings, documentation, customs clearance, invoicing, and inquiries while adhering to regulatory standards.

The role requires at least two years’ air export experience (preferably pharma), GDP and DG training, and fluency in English. CargoWise experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Completed training in Freight forwarding, logistics, or SCM.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in Air Export forwarding, preferably in pharma.
• GDP training/experience.
• Dangerous Goods training/experience.
• Fluent oral and written English.
• Experience using CargoWise is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements and deliver first-class service.
• Plan, arrange, monitor and control export shipments and complete documentation.
• Handle non-conformities to assure product safety and customer satisfaction.
• Receive bookings from clients/agents and make carrier bookings.
• Operate the company’s IT systems (incl. CargoWise).
• Generate invoices and process costs (accruals & purchase invoices).
• Perform customs clearance and prepare quotations.
• Respond promptly to general inquiries and ensure compliance with standards.
• Execute Dangerous Goods shipments in line with applicable laws.
