Job summary

Expeditors in Dublin is seeking an Air Export AOG Agent to process export shipments and documentation. You will handle house and master air waybills, ensure accurate data entry, and liaise with customers and global offices.

The role requires 6 months to 1 year related experience, understanding of air documentation, and strong communication and organizational skills. IATA certification is preferred and training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Track and trace export shipments from origin to destination.
• Prepare, handle, and process air waybills and related documents.
• Enter data accurately into operating systems in a timely manner.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, Expeditors offices, and colleagues via email, phone and messaging.
• Monitor reports and ensure timely client billing.
• Maintain relationships with airlines and trucking partners.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and government regulations.
• Meet KPIs and contribute to department and company goals.
• Continuously seek process improvements and participate in required training (52 hours annually).

Job Description

Air Export AOG Agent will serve in an operations capacity, responsible for processing export shipments including accompanying export documentation. Major duties and responsibilities to include but not limited to:?

• Track and Trace shipments.
• Prepare, handle, and process shipment documentation- including house and master air waybills, commercial documents, and customs/regulatory documents.
• Accurate and timely data entry into our operating system.
• Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, other Expeditors offices worldwide, and co-workers through high volume of email, phone, instant message, and person to person.
• Monitor reports.
• Accurate and timely client billing.
• Contribute to maintaining strong service provider relationships- airlines, trucking companies, and others.
• Maintain compliance standards at all times- including internal policies and procedures, external government regulations, and customer requirements.
• Meet key performance indicators to support department, branch, product, and company goals.
• Desire to understand overall department process flow and constantly seek opportunities for improved efficiency.
• Training and Development - must obtain required 52 hours of?annual training. (company provided)

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience essential
• Understanding of air documentation
• Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
• Pro-active, strong organizational skills
• IATA certification (preferred)
