Job summary

Early Scholars Monasterevin is recruiting an AIM support practitioner to join their Monasterevin team with an immediate start. Options available for 15-17.5hrs weekly in our morning Pre-school Program.

You will be working alongside two Early Years Educators in a warm friendly inclusive environment. You will support the Preschool Teachers in an ECCE classroom of 22 children, assist with daily planning, observations and scrapbook folders.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 or 6 in Childcare – certificate required.
• Garda Vetting will be processed.
• 2 signed references.
• First Aid, Manual Handling and Fire Safety training provided.

Responsibilities

• Support Preschool Teachers in ECCE classroom of 22 children.
• Assist with day-to-day running following Early Scholars policies.
• Assist with daily planning, observations and scrapbook folders.
• Excellent communication with families, children and staff.

• QQI Level 5 or 6 in Childcare – proof of certificate is required.
• Planned progression to QQI Level 7 an advantage
• 2 signed references
• Garda Vetting will be processed
• Further training provided including First Aid, Manual Handing and Fire Safety

Role and duties would include

• Support the Preschool Teachers in an ECCE classroom of 22 children
• Support the Preschool Teachers in the day to day running of the service, ensuring adherence to Early Scholars policies and procedures
• Assist with daily planning, child observations and scrapbook folders.
• Excellent communication skills required to work alongside the key carer, families, children and staff.
