Our people first approach offers our teams a caring work environment which promotes belonging and inclusivity of all cultures and perspectives.

The Position

Forvis Mazars is a leading provider of independent auditing and advisory services. We are seeking an AI & Transformation Product & Programme Manager to support the delivery of strategic initiatives across the firm.

This role combines product ownership with programme delivery. You will own the strategy, roadmap and lifecycle of AI and automation products and solutions built on the firm’s enterprise platforms, across Copilot, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Platform, AI models and agentic AI experiences, and run the programmes that bring them to the firm, including rollout, governance, training and innovation enablement. IT deploys and manages the platforms themselves. Partnering closely with business leaders, IT, data and operations, you will define clear problem statements and outcomes, translate insights into a sequenced product backlog and programme plan, and steward initiatives from idea through launch, adoption and continuous improvement, in line with firm strategy, governance and risk, to enhance operational efficiency, collaboration and digital maturity.

The role requires strong product and programme management capabilities, experience with mainstream and emerging technologies, and the ability to work cross-functionally with technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and communicate a compelling multi‑horizon product vision aligned to firm and departmental strategies, and translate it into an outcomes‑driven roadmap with clear OKRs, value hypotheses and prioritisation criteria.
  • Maintain the product backlog, ensuring epics and stories are well‑sized, testable and traceable to user value.
Discovery & User Research
  • Lead discovery to understand user needs, pain points and opportunities using interviews, data analysis and journey mapping.
  • Formulate hypotheses and run structured experiments (A/B tests, pilots, MVPs) to validate desirability, feasibility and viability.
  • Define success metrics and acceptance criteria, and ensure insights continuously inform backlog refinement.
  • Develop and maintain integrated programme plans, timelines and resource allocations across AI and transformation initiatives, aligned to the product roadmap.
  • Establish governance structures, reporting frameworks and key performance metrics; monitor progress, manage risks and ensure timely escalation and resolution.
  • Work day‑to‑day with engineering, design and data teams to deliver increments, remove blockers and make trade‑off decisions.
  • Plan releases, manage change impacts and ensure operational readiness (support model, SLAs, runbooks).
  • Oversee post‑launch optimisation, telemetry, incident triage and continuous improvement through data‑driven iteration.
Platform Solutions & AI Governance
  • Own the products, solutions and use cases built on the firm’s enterprise platforms (e.g. Copilot, SharePoint, Power Automate, Power Apps), whether AI-driven, agentic or process automation, and drive their adoption across the firm.
  • Work with IT and Group to define requirements for the AI/ML infrastructure, tooling, model access and platform capabilities needed to scale solutions.
  • Embed responsible AI principles, usage guidelines and risk controls (privacy, security, fairness) into product designs.
  • Ensure products comply with firm policies and regulatory requirements; contribute to AI governance forums and to policy updates, including AI usage guidelines and safe AI practices.
  • Manage innovation enablement programmes, including champions networks, training and a use case pipeline, and facilitate the identification, prioritisation and delivery of business process improvements and automation opportunities.
  • Coordinate training programmes in AI fundamentals, prompt engineering and ethical AI usage, partnering with Change/Training on enablement plans and adoption campaigns.
  • Coordinate launch planning, packaging and communications for new capabilities; define segmentation and personas and tailor adoption tactics and measurement by audience and use case.
  • Gather feedback at scale (surveys, in‑product prompts, support channels) to drive continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Management & Reporting
  • Align cross‑functional stakeholders (business units, IT, Risk & Compliance, HR and external partners) through clear narratives and decision records.
  • Prepare executive‑ready updates, dashboards, programme reports and board‑level reporting; communicate outcomes and learning succinctly.
  • Collaborate with HR on innovation awards and the integration of performance metrics.
  • Model value (benefits, cost‑to‑serve, productivity, experience) and track realisation against OKRs and KPIs.
  • Build business cases and secure funding; manage vendor relationships and licensing with Procurement as needed.
  • Own product P&L insights where applicable; propose retire/renew decisions based on performance and risk.
Ideal Candidate
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; an advanced degree or product or programme certifications (e.g. Agile, PMP, PRINCE2, AIPMM, Pragmatic, Product School) are advantageous.
Experience:
  • 3–5 years in product, programme or project management (or adjacent roles) delivering digital, AI and enterprise technology products and transformation programmes at scale.
  • Proven track record shaping strategy, prioritising roadmaps and shipping outcomes with cross‑functional teams, including managing innovation programmes and engaging senior stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (e.g. Copilot, SharePoint, Power Platform including Power Automate) and its implementation lifecycle, and of modern delivery practices (Agile, dual‑track discovery, DevOps).
  • Experience supporting enterprise‑wide technology rollouts and user adoption programmes, and working with cross‑border teams.
  • Exposure to applied AI/ML, LLMs and responsible AI considerations (governance, safety, monitoring).
  • Knowledge of transformation frameworks (Agile, Lean, Design Thinking).
  • Familiarity with AI governance, ethical considerations and training frameworks.
  • Understanding of innovation management principles and performance measurement.
Skills and Competencies
  • Customer‑centred problem solving; ability to convert insight into clear product decisions.
  • Programme governance, planning and reporting excellence, with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate cross‑functional teams and drive innovation enablement.
  • Data fluency across product analytics, telemetry and experimentation frameworks, with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Storytelling and influence; strong written and visual communication for senior audiences.
  • Backlog management, prioritisation techniques (WSJF, RICE, value vs. effort) and roadmap facilitation.
  • Deep understanding of AI adoption, automation opportunities and the enterprise tooling lifecycle, with working knowledge of UX, engineering constraints and AI platform capabilities.
  • Proficiency with Jira/Azure DevOps, Confluence, Power BI and collaboration tools (M365).
Personal Attributes
  • Outcome‑oriented with a bias for action and thoughtful risk management.
  • Curious, analytical and evidence‑driven; comfortable with ambiguity and iteration.
  • Proactive, adaptable and resilient in fast‑paced change environments; works well both independently and collaboratively.
  • Collaborative partner who builds trust across business and technology communities, engaging both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Strong commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, inclusive design and ethical AI principles
