Job summary

Salesforce is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers to design, build, and deploy agentic AI solutions inside enterprise environments. You’ll work with a Deployment Strategist to co-build solutions that ship from day one, spanning configuration, customization, and full-stack deployment.

You’ll collaborate on building AI agents, data pipelines, and KPI dashboards, with mentorship from leaders who shipped agentic systems at scale. Expect travel around 25% and a path to leading complex deliveries.

Qualifications

3+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience, with at least one production system
Degree in Computer Science or a related field
Fluent in English + another EMEA language
Prior customer-facing technical delivery experience (consulting, professional services, or forward deployed engineering)
Proficient in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex and eager to expand
Hands-on with LLMs and prompt engineering
Strong understanding of data modeling, APIs, and integration patterns
Able to explain prompt failures and propose fixes
Willing to travel ~25% and work directly with customers

Responsibilities

Develop AI agents and experiences that take real actions for real organisations
Design agent intelligence: prompts, reasoning, tool calls, and integration with customer systems
Own technical components end-to-end from architecture to production
Build and integrate data pipelines on Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer data platforms
Surface platform gaps and share field insights to product teams
