Job summary

Google in Dublin, Ireland is seeking a Privacy and Security Technical Assurance Lead for RCI to drive AI security assurance testing programs and cross‑functional governance. You will need deep AI/ML security expertise, offensive testing mindset, and strong program management to oversee complex assurance initiatives from inception to completion.

You will collaborate with engineering, legal, and product teams to test AI safeguards, measure remediation progress, and report to risk committees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, technical assurance, IT audit, penetration testing, or risk management.
• Experience planning and executing cross-functional technical projects with legal/compliance partners.
• Experience designing/testing security controls for software/infrastructure/AI/ML systems.
• Familiarity with EU Digital Services Act, EU AI Act, NIS2, DORA.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight as a second line of defense for AI/ML and security ecosystems.
• Communicate testing results and mitigation strategies to leadership and stakeholders.
• Translate insights into engineering recommendations for privacy and security strategies in Generative AI and ML.
• Collaborate with Legal to align assurance with global AI regulations.
• Design and scale security assurance frameworks using scripting and tooling.
