Job summary

Google Dublin is seeking a Privacy and Security Technical Assurance Lead to drive AI security assurance testing programs and threat modeling. You will operate as a second-line leader, collaborating with engineering, legal, and risk committees to ensure robust controls across AI/ML systems.

The role requires deep technical security expertise, program management, and the ability to translate testing insights into actionable engineering recommendations while coordinating with global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, technical assurance, IT audit, penetration testing, or risk management.
• Experience with enterprise-wide cross-functional project planning and collaboration with legal, policy, or compliance teams.
• Experience designing security control testing methodologies and risk assessments for software, infrastructure, or AI/ML systems.
• Experience with cybersecurity regulations such as EU Digital Services Act, EU AI Act, NIS2, DORA.

Responsibilities

• Drive AI Security assurance testing programs and threat modeling as a second-line leader.
• Collaborate across engineering, legal counsel, and risk committees to report findings and drive remediation.
• Define testing objectives, metrics, and progress tracking for complex assurance initiatives.
