Job summary

Google Dublin is seeking a Lead Security Engineer for the gTech Risk Solutions group. You will design security architecture, implement validation frameworks, and collaborate with centralized security functions to prevent threats across enterprise systems and cloud deployments.

The role emphasizes influence with senior engineering partners, building contextual security solutions for the gTech ecosystem, and ensuring risk prevention through design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in security engineering, threat modeling, systems design, and security architecture.
• 3 years of experience with coding (e.g., C++, Java, Go, or Python).
• Experience designing security controls for teams with operational systems and cloud infrastructure deployment.
• Experience developing, deploying and monitoring security policies in partnership with centralized security functions.

Responsibilities

• Design the security architecture and validation frameworks for agentic platforms.
• Design automation for vulnerability auto-mitigation to align with SLO timelines.
• Architect automated access control systems and data flow constraints to prevent abuse.
• Align technical architectures with central security design standards as primary conduit.
• Create precise, robust technical designs for the Build team for software fulfilment.
