Braind is an AI automation company working in the insurance brokerage market. Our product, Ivy, automates the high-volume, repetitive work that costs brokers time and money - document handling, workflows, client communications, and more.
We're a rapidly expanding team based in Dublin, London and India. The market is responding to the pain and opportunity Ivy solves. Now we need the right person to own the sales function and scale it.
The Role
We've built a repeatable sales motion and a working playbook. The deals are there. What we need is someone to own the pipeline end-to-end — from first touch to signed contract — and bring the discipline and energy to close consistently at scale.
This is a founding sales hire. You're not joining a large team. You're building the function.
You’ll own:
- Full pipeline from demo to close — outbound, inbound, and partner-sourced leads
- CRM hygiene and pipeline reporting in our CRM — forecast accuracy, activity tracking, deal velocity
- Executing and refining the existing Ivy sales playbook
- Target: 5+ new Ivy customers per month, consistently
You won't be doing:
- Solo enterprise deals — when a larger, more complex opportunity comes up (and they do), you’ll be supported by our CEO, CTO, and Forward Deployed Engineers
- Implementation or onboarding — that’s a separate team
- Cold calling into random lists — we have warm leads, content-driven inbound, and partner referrals
On larger deals:
The core motion is mid‑market — fast qualification, 4‑8 week cycles, owner/MD decisions. But some customers open doors to larger engagements. When that happens, you won’t be left on your own. You’ll coordinate with our CEO, CTO and our FDEs to run the deal as a team. Your job is to manage the relationship and keep it moving, not to be the expert on every technical dimension.
What We’re Looking ForMust have:
- 3-5 years in B2B SaaS sales — you’ve closed deals independently, not just supported a team
- Consultative seller — our buyers are business owners and managers, not procurement departments
- CRM discipline — you track everything, you forecast accurately, you don’t let deals go dark
- Hunger — this is a career-defining opportunity for the right person, not a comfortable job
Strong advantage:
- Experience in insurance, fintech, or professional services
- Sold to SME owner/MDs (10‑50 employee companies)
- Familiarity with HighLevel or similar CRM
- Experience/Interest in AI
Not a fit if:
- You need a large team, big marketing budget, and a warm seat to be effective
- You’re primarily a relationship manager rather than a closer
Compensation
- OTE: £60,000 – £85,000+ with uncapped commission as we scale
- ESOP (Employee Share Option Plan) — you’re joining at ground level, with the opportunity to hold equity in a company we’re building toward a significant exit
- Remote‑first — UK‑based
Why This Role
- The product is proven. The market is real. You’re not selling vaporware.
- You'll have direct access to the founding team and Cormac as you build.
- The comp ceiling scales with your performance — there’s no cap on earnings as we grow.
- Potential to own a sales function from day one, with equity that reflects it.
- The UK insurance broker market is large and largely untouched by AI automation — we are first in.
