Job summary

IT Search is seeking an AI Business Analyst / Tech Product Owner in Ireland to identify high-value AI opportunities, assess technologies, and drive AI solutions from idea to production. You’ll work across business and tech teams to shape the AI roadmap and governance, including Copilot Studio, AI agents, Generative AI and automation.

You’ll own and prioritise backlogs, run discovery sessions and influence investment decisions, partnering with senior leaders to deliver measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, Technical Product Owner or similar technology delivery role.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including confidence working with senior business and technology leaders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Experience leading workshops, discovery and requirements-gathering activities.
• Strong understanding of Agile software delivery and the full SDLC.
• Experience translating business requirements into clear scope, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• A strong testing and quality mindset, with the ability to assess whether AI solutions are delivering the intended outcome.
• Genuine interest in AI, Generative AI, automation and emerging technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI-enabled automation and transformation.
• Define use cases, problem statements, business objectives, KPIs and success criteria.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and assess feasibility, value and potential business impact.
• Act as Product Owner across the full lifecycle—from idea and proof of concept through to production and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with architects and engineers to shape AI solutions, workflows and integrations.
• Help design and refine AI agents, Copilot solutions, prompts, instructions and conversational workflows.
• Own and prioritise product backlogs, balancing business value, technical complexity and speed to market.
• Lead workshops, demonstrations, testing and stakeholder reviews.
• Define acceptance criteria and test scenarios, including functional and behavioural testing of AI solutions.
• Monitor production performance, user feedback and business outcomes to drive continuous improvement.
• Help establish the standards, frameworks and decision-making approach for AI across the organisation.

AI Business Analyst / Tech Product Owner

We’re looking for an ambitious AI Business Analyst / Tech Product Owner to identify high-value opportunities, assess emerging AI technologies and drive AI solutions from idea through to production.

You’ll work across business and technology teams to turn real business challenges into innovative AI solutions, helping shape the organisation’s AI roadmap, investment decisions and approach to AI at scale.

A key part of the role will be working with Microsoft Copilot Studio, AI agents, Generative AI and intelligent automation, testing what’s possible and determining where these technologies can deliver genuine business value.

Key Responsibilities
