Job summary

Novartis Ireland is seeking a Global Clinical Operations AI Product Director to translate complex challenges into scalable AI solutions. You will guide AI-enabled products from concept to adoption, ensuring compliance and user focus across clinical development in a regulated environment.

You will lead cross-functional teams, shape product strategy, and drive value through SDLC-based delivery. This senior role emphasizes transformation, governance, and measurable operational impact in a hybrid

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field or business experience.
At least seven years in a senior leadership role.
Experience in product management, digital delivery, or AI solution delivery.
Strong understanding of clinical operations or a regulated environment.
Ability to translate business needs into AI requirements and use cases.
Experience delivering SDLC-based products using Agile or Scrum.
Understanding of AI/ML lifecycle and AI-enabled workflow design.
Proven cross-functional leadership in matrix environments.
Experience leading product strategy, development, and improvement.

Responsibilities

Identify clinical operations challenges and translate them into AI opportunities.
Define use cases, scope, value hypotheses, and requirements for AI products.
Evaluate emerging AI technologies and inform product direction.
Bridge business stakeholders and technical teams with clear requirements.
Lead AI products through design, MVP, pilot, scaling, and adoption.
Ensure solutions are user-focused, compliant, and aligned with GxP and privacy.
Drive adoption by user validation, feedback, outcomes, and change management.
Partner across Global Clinical Operations, Development AI, DDIT, Quality and Compliance.
