Cpl Group in Ireland is seeking a Team Lead – Solution Engineers to drive revenue through a high‑performing team focused on AI platform APIs. You will lead across SMB, Enterprise Qualification, and Renewals, ensuring structured execution and consistent quota attainment.

This hybrid role blends sales leadership with technical fluency, managing pipeline hygiene, forecast accuracy, and executive sponsorship on strategic opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years total B2B technology sales experience, including 3+ years in a people leadership role.
• 3+ years of SaaS closing experience in high-velocity environments.
• Proven, consistent track record of quota attainment.
• Mandatory SaaS/AI/technology sales background.
• Strong CRM expertise (Salesforce preferred) and familiarity with sales sequencing tools.
• English proficiency at C1 minimum.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and performance-manage Solution Engineers across SMB, Enterprise Qualification, and Renewals segments.
• Own team-level quota, pipeline coverage, forecast accuracy, and productivity metrics.
• Set clear daily, weekly, and monthly performance expectations — outreach volumes, SLA adherence, pipeline progression.
• Drive a structured inspection cadence: pipeline reviews, call coaching, QA scorecard reviews.
• Build onboarding and ramp programs aligned to role-specific experience requirements.
• Drive disciplined opportunity qualification using structured methodologies (MEDDICC, BANT, or similar).
• Maintain rigorous Salesforce hygiene, forecast accuracy, and clean pipeline management.
• Consistently deliver against revenue targets and team quota attainment.
• Act as executive sponsor on complex enterprise API opportunities.
• Guide commercial structuring, pricing strategy, and negotiation.
• Partner with Solutions Engineering to align AI capabilities with measurable business outcomes.
