Job summary

Fund Recs is hiring an AI Ops Senior Analyst in Dublin to own operational activity across data, reconciliations and controls. You will investigate issues, collaborate with Product, Engineering and AI teams, and mentor junior colleagues while expanding process improvements.

The role blends automation with hands-on analysis, offering growth into cross-functional teams and a path toward leadership within a dynamic fintech environment. Hybrid work with Dublin office three days a week.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years' experience in fund administration, asset management, depositary, investment operations or a related financial services role.
  • Experience across reconcilia tions, data operations, fund accounting, oversight.
  • Ability to independently investigate and resolve operational issues.
  • Client focused with strong relationship building and influencing skills.
  • Very organised with an exceptional attention to detail.
  • Flexible and adaptable with a solutions focused mindset.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.

Responsibilities

  • Identify repetitive activities that could be automated, simplified or improved.
  • Test AI-assisted workflows, automation and new product functionality.
  • Provide structured feedback on accuracy, usability and operational effectiveness.
  • Identify recurring patterns that could be addressed through rules, workflows or automation.
  • Work with AI, Product and Engineering teams to improve operational processes.
  • Take ownership of operational activities across data, reconciliations, oversight, controls and exception management.
  • Independently investigate and resolve operational issues and exceptions.
  • Ensure work is completed accurately, on time and in line with agreed procedures and controls.
  • Maintain clear documentation and audit trails for investigations and actions.
  • Escalate complex, aged or material issues appropriately.
  • Review and analyse data received from clients and third parties.
  • Investigate data quality issues, reconciliation differences and other exceptions.
  • Perform and review reconciliations, controls and oversight activities.
  • Identify recurring issues, trends and potential control weaknesses.
  • Develop a strong understanding of how data and processes fit within the wider fund operating environment.
  • Perform quality reviews over completed work and provide constructive feedback.
  • Help ensure procedures and controls are applied consistently across the team.
  • Support the training and development of Analysts and new team members.
  • Share operational knowledge and investigation techniques.
  • Act as a point of support for colleagues.
  • Communicate clearly with clients, internal stakeholders and third party data providers on operational matters.
  • Provide concise updates on investigations, issues and outstanding actions.
  • Work closely with Managers, Product, Engineering and AI teams.
  • Support the onboarding of new clients, processes, data sources and controls.

About the role:

Fund Recs is building a new kind of operations for the funds industry, combining operational expertise with technology, automation and AI.

Our teams work across data management, reconciliations, operational oversight, controls and exception management. Wherever possible, repetitive work is automated, allowing our people to focus on investigation, analysis and continuous improvement.

As anAI Ops Senior Analyst, you will take ownership of operational activity, help maintain a high standard of delivery and support the development of junior team members.

What you’ll do:

Our interview process typically involves the following:

  • A 45 minute Teams call where we’ll ask you about your current and previous roles and explore some competency based questions with you.
  • A second round in person interview to go through follow up questions.
  • We may follow up with a final stage interview, to discuss any feedback before making a final decision.
