Job summary

AMAX, based in Ireland, seeks a Hardware Solutions Engineer to design and deploy high-performance AI and HPC infrastructure, including GPU clusters, storage, and low-latency networking. You will translate customer requirements into production-ready hardware platforms and lead cross-functional execution.

The role spans solution design, validation, pre-sales support, and on-site deployments, with strong emphasis on performance tuning, BOM definition, and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/EE or related field.
• Hands-on with HPC clusters and AI/ML infra.
• Strong server architecture and networking knowledge.
• Experience with Linux, Bash/Python, and automation.
• Ability to work across customers, sales, and engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement HPC/AI infra, GPU clusters.
• Lead end-to-end solution lifecycle from pre-sales to deployment.
• Collaborate with sales to translate requirements into designs.
• Validate, integrate, and burn-in for production readiness.
• Provide on-site or remote deployment support.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
